About Me

Keka is originally from Guatemala and now calls Texas home. She lives with her husband, their three children, and three dogs. Keka and her family have lived in several places in the U.S, including South Carolina, Kansas, Florida, prior moving to Texas. Every State has provided a unique and beautiful experience. Moving has taught them to be flexible and always enjoy each moment. When Keka is not writing, she is having adventures with her family. 

Keka is an SCBWI and 12x12 member.

• I am the youngest of three sisters.
• My oldest sisters are 9 and 12 years older than me. 
• I have three daughters.
• My kids are 6, 9, and 12.
• Three is not my favorite number, but it seems to follow me around!
• I have three dogs (Cavalier King Charles) who like to sit on my feet as I write.  Secret... they snore!
